Requirements for the Namibia Digital Nomad Visa

📄 Valid Travel Document 

You must have a valid passport.

💶 Proof of Remote Income 

You must be able to prove sufficient income from either:

  • Valid working contract with a foreign company
  • Owning a business with clients outside the country
  • Becoming an independent freelancer and earning an income through providing services to international customers.

📃 Motivation Letter from Employer

 Digital nomads working for a company must provide a signed letter from their employer specifying their role and affirming that they permit remote work arrangements.

💰 Meet the Minimum Monthly Income 

You must have a minimum monthly income of $2,000 (€1,864). To bring a spouse or partner along with you, your partner must have an income that exceeds $1,000 per month. 

In addition to that, for each child accompanying you on the journey, an extra $500 per month is required. You must show this through payslips and/ or an employment contract.

You must provide bank statements for the previous six months.

You must provide a clear criminal record (no more than six months old) from your country of residence.
